To ensure smooth operation and effective scheduling, we kindly request a minimum of 72 hours' notice for any weekday road test sponsorship cancellations that you booked independently.

Cancellations should be made by phone or email, strictly on Mondays through Fridays, and no later than 5:00 p.m. However, please note that for Saturday, Sunday, or Monday appointments, cancellations will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on the preceding Friday.

Once an off-hours road test has been confirmed by the RMV, it cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.

Please be advised that late cancellations will be considered as no-shows and a cancellation fee of $60 will apply.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these cancellation policies, as they ensure efficient scheduling and accommodate other students.

To provide efficient scheduling and accommodate other students, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for rescheduling or cancelling lessons.

For weekday road test sponsorship cancellations, a minimum of 72 hours' notice is required.

If a lesson is cancelled without the required 24-hour notice due to illness, a doctor's note must be provided. In such cases, a reduced cancellation fee of $40 will be applied instead of the standard $60 fee. 

Please be aware that late cancellations will be treated as no-shows, and a cancellation fee of $60 will be applied.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these notice and cancellation policies. They help ensure smooth scheduling and accommodate the needs of all our students.

For every scheduled Behind the Wheel and Observation session, it is mandatory to provide the instructor with the original Learner's Permit.

Students are strictly prohibited from entering the driving school vehicle without presenting their learner's permit.

Please note that failure to present the Learner's Permit will result in the cancellation of the lesson, incurring a $60 cancellation fee, and forfeiture of your drive time.

The following circumstances will be considered as a NO-SHOW, resulting in a $60 cancellation fee:

1. If the student arrives later than 15 minutes for their scheduled lesson, it will be considered a NO-SHOW.

2. Students must wear their glasses or corrective lenses as required by the RMV during the lesson. Failure to do so will result in a NO-SHOW.

3. Late cancellations will be treated as NO-SHOWS.

4. If the student does not have a Learner's Permit, the lesson cannot be conducted, resulting in a NO-SHOW.

Please note that in any of these situations, a NO-SHOW fee of $60 will be applied.

We offer pickup and drop-off services, which are available with certain restrictions. These services are limited to either the student's home or school.

If there is a need for pickup or drop-off at a location other than the home or school, prior approval must be obtained from the parent/guardian and Commonwealth Auto School. Please ensure to communicate and receive approval for any alternative pickup or drop-off arrangements.

All accumulated fees/fines MUST be paid before certification is issued; otherwise, Commonwealth Auto School will NOT issue a certification for the student.

At present, Commonwealth Auto School accepts payment in the form of cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle only for all services. For road lessons, payment is due at the beginning of each lesson.

Please note that if there are any past due balances, it is necessary to make appropriate arrangements. Failure to do so may result in the refusal or cancellation of services by Commonwealth Auto School.
